CondyBot Commands
This page lists all the commands you can take advantage of to use CondyBot in #condoulo on Geekshed-IRC. Some of these commands are restricted to Half-Op or above, and others are for everybody to use. Abuse of the bot will result in a kick.
Topic Commands
These commands can be used to change the topic or user status. If you change the status of one that is not yours it will result in the loss of your position / topic status (if you have one).
- !topic - Sets the topic to any text that goes after topic. Anyone Hop or above can set it.
- !condy - Sets the Status for Condoulo in the topic. only Tyler (Condoulo) is allowed to use this trigger.
- !darck - Sets the Status for darckasasin, only darckasasin is allowed to use this trigger.
- !grady - sets Grady's status in the topic, only Grady is allowed to use this trigger.
- !link - sets the link in the topic.
- !tsync - Syncs the topic back to the correct variables if somebody accidentally messes it up.
Useful Commands
These commands are extra useful commands that may provide some information about the IRC channel, website, weather, Google, etc.
- !weather *locationhere* - Displays the current weather of a location. You can either so City then State (or country), or enter your ZIP Code.
- !google - Allows one to search google and see the first result.
- !blog - Provides the URL to the Home-page of this Website/Blog.
- !latestpost - Links the person to the last blog post that Tyler has written.
- !setpost - Sets the link that will be in the !latestpost command.
- !uptime - will Display the Uptime of the machine CondyBot is on (thanks to the Moo script!)
- !peak - will display the peak number of users that have been in #condoulo at one time.
- !register (*nick*) - Outputs the command for user registration. Putting the username at the end will have CondyBot direct the message to that user.
- !group (*nick*) - Outputs the command for grouping nicknames. Putting the username at the end will have CondyBot direct the message to that user.
Fun Commands
These are just some fun random commands I decided to add to my bot. Please do not abuse these just to highlight random people.
- !trout *nick* - Slaps that person with a trout.
- !WinME *nick* - Slaps that person with a copy of Windows ME
- !trade *nick* - Forces that person to trade their PC with another random nick.
- !dungoofd *nick* - CondyBot will tell them that he has backtraded it and will report that person to the Cyberpolice, and will make sure the Consequences will NEVER be the same
Channel Management Commands
These commands are going to be used to keep the peace in the channel, used for kicking, banning, or silencing people. I only have one in this section right now, but I will add more in the future. Abuse these commands and you lose your position. Half-Op and up should be able to use them (that may be due to change in the future).
- !kbotspam *nick* - Kicks that person for abusing the Bot commands (if you feel they've been abusing the bot).
